"Both of them are veteran professionals who bring to the Group extensive experience in business development and investment research respectively. Their arrival would be instrumental in helping the Group expand into other markets in the region."

These are two key appointments following the announcement of Mr. Richard Leung as Vice Chairman and Dr. Miron Mushkat as Chief Financial Officer respectively last year. Mr. Richard Leung is a seasoned banker and Dr. Mushkat a prominent investment strategist and economist, both boasting broad international exposure and regional experience.

With a specialty in funds, Mr. Chow is an all-rounded investment professional with wide exposure to a broad spectrum of investment vehicles."Mr. Chow brings with him a wealth of experience in the region`s major financial markets including China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Korea," added Mr. Au.

In his new role, Mr. Chow will primarily take care of regional business development, marketing of treasury and capital market products and promotion of the Group`s Internet portal.

Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Chow was the Managing Director of Haussmann International Asia Ltd., a Deutsche Bank Group company. He led the company`s drive in regional business development. Before that, he had a stint with Towry Law (Asia) HK Limited as Senior Financial Consultant and Beijing Representative, and Matheson InvestNet Limited.

Mr. Chow holds a Bachelor`s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) and a Master`s Degree in Law (LLM).

In line with expansion, the appointment of Ms Hung represents a further boost to the Group`s research capabilities in support of its business development initiative.

As the new Head of Research Department, Ms. Hung is an experienced research analyst. A specialist in the economies of China and Hong Kong, Ms. Hung follows closely on the political and economic developments of China. She writes in-depth reports on red chips, Chinese companies as well as the banking sector of Hong Kong.

"Ms Hung`s insights into the Hong Kong and China markets will be a great asset to our development of the mainland market," noted Mr. Au.

Prior to joining Delta Asia, Ms Hung was the Head of Research of Mansion House. Before that, she worked with Nomura Research Institute Hong Kong. Ms Hung holds a master`s degree in Economics from the University of London.

The Delta Asia Financial Group is a full-fledged banking and financial services group encompassing Macau, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan. Complemented by commercial banking, the Group has taken on a new focus to develop its wealth management business on top of its activities in treasury and capital markets. The Group acquired an insurance company in Macau last year.
